Frequently asked questions
How long do lash extensions last?
Your extensions will naturally shed with your lash cycle. Most clients maintain their look with infills every 2–3 weeks to keep them full, fresh and perfectly styled.
How long is the appointment?
Full sets typically take 2–3 hours, allowing time for precision, styling and a flawless finish.
Infills range from 30–80 minutes depending on how many weeks it has been since your last infill/full set.
Can I wear makeup with my extensions?
Yes, but oil-based products must be avoided and mascara must not be applied to your extensions. To ensure hygiene, your makeup should be removed before sleeping and you should clean your eyelash extensions with eyelash shampoo. If you follow aftercare advice carefully this ensures better retention.
Do you have free parking at your salon?
Yes! There is a car park directly outside of the stunning building I am based in, it is permitted parking so I will provide you with a permit when you arrive.
Do I have to have a patch test?
Yes, patch tests are essential. Reactions are rare, but your comfort and safety always come first.
Your safety and comfort are my priority. While reactions to professional lash products are rare, a patch test is recommended for new clients or anyone who may be prone to sensitivity.
Your patch test appointment is also an opportunity for a personal consultation. We will discuss your desired style, suitability based on your natural lashes, lifestyle, maintenance and any previous experiences with extensions. This ensures your set is beautifully tailored to you and helps achieve the best possible retention and result.
What makes your lash sets different?
I focus on precision, symmetry and long-lasting retention using high-quality professional products. Every set is designed to complement you individually rather than following a one-style-fits-all approach.
How often do I need infills?
To keep your lashes looking their best, most clients rebook every 2–3 weeks.
What style should I choose?
Every set is customised to suit your eye shape, natural lashes and desired look. If you’re unsure, I will guide you during your consultation.
Every appointment begins with a consultation where we discuss your desired look, eye shape and the condition of your natural lashes. I will guide you towards a style that enhances your features while keeping your lashes healthy.
Can you infill other technicians work?
In some cases, yes. However, if the existing lashes do not meet my standards, removal and a fresh set may be recommended to guarantee the best finish
Can I get my lash extensions wet?
Yes, your lashes can get wet straight after your appointment. However, for the first 24 hours, it’s best to avoid excessive heat and steam, such as hot showers, saunas or steam rooms, as this can affect the adhesive while it continues to cure.
After swimming in the sea or a pool, gentle cleansing is recommended to remove salt or chlorine and maintain the longevity and freshness of your extensions.
I'm nervous about keeping my eyes closed for so long.
Many clients feel this way before their first visit. The treatment is comfortable and relaxing, and most people use the time to rest or even nap.
Will my lashes look too heavy or unnatural?
Not unless you want them to. Each set is fully customised, whether you prefer soft and subtle or full glamour. My aim is always to create a look you feel confident wearing every day.
